After dropping off our luggage in the rooms and meeting up with the rest of the students that had arrived earlier, we went out for our first meal in Japan.  Again we are stuck with bad weather and the rain is not helping getting around Roppongi.  As we march in the rain we take in the sights around us.  Neon signs that I cannot read surround me.  Cars driving on the wrong side of the road startle me.  I am pelted in the face with umbrellas as locals push past us.  We are clearly in their way. I can’t see the front of the line my fellow Spartans formed and we maneuver our through the unknown.  Separated at lights the group expands and contracts accordingly.  I am amazed that we are able to find our way to our destination; a traditional Japanese restaurant.  I could not be any more excited for the weeks ahead of me.
